Methods To Outrank Your Competitors

A year ago, it was business as usual online. And I was doing very well with SEO. In fact my website was on page one of Google for dozens upon dozens of keywords.

I was getting a lot more traffic than the previous year. I mean A LOT MORE.

The SEO “game” was well known to me.

I went on as usual creating some articles and submitting them, getting some backlinks. You know SEO stuff…

It was wonderful; my site was on top of the Google search results for so many keywords that some webmasters were asking me how did you do that. [Read more →]

Catapulting Yourself Into The Limelight Using Product Reviews

Product reviews are probably one of the most lucrative affiliate marketing opportunities out there.  A well executed review – complete with delicious keyword-rich content – can bring about more purchases than a Dollar Store on pay day.  While writing a review is far from rocket surgery, there are a few key factors that can mean the difference between a few paragraphs taking up space on your web site and a real review that gets noticed by search engine robots and the people who use them. Why My Friends Rankings Suck?

I was talking with one of my friends, and found this very interesting.

We were talking about how he thinks too much and
tries to read too much before taking any action.

Case and point. He wants to start SEO. He’s been
reading a ton of SEO books, articles and even
joined couple forums. However he was stuck,
and confused and finally he got me on messenger.

Now I used to go to shool without a shool bag most of
the time, one year before leaving school. Failing exams
was so common it was like something special.

I told him he doesn’t need a diploma to start SEO.
After we ended the conversation he got rid of all the
stuff he was learning, and did just one thing… [Read more →]

Multi-Level-Marketing and Affiliate Marketing – Don’t Get it Confused.

Paris Hilton, Viagara, Dance
We’ve all heard the saying,
“I’d be rich if I had a nickel for every time…”

…I hear Paris Hilton say, “That’s Hot!”
…I receive an email trying to sell me Viagra
…I see a rerun of “So You Think You Can Dance” on TV

Frankly, I’d be rich if I had a nickel for every personal MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) invitation I’ve received last year. Honestly, I’m grateful for each invitation and I’m not against MLM business. I’m just irritated of people labelling me as an MLM’er because I also ‘refer people’ to products.

How To Get One Way Links To Your Own Blog Almost Automatically

There are probably many methods to get links to a blog. A blog hosted on blogger or any other blog platform still needs to be optimized for search engines.

It means you have to add meta tags and other onpage optimization factors. Do not put too much importance however. Your objective is to get many links. Start by adding meta tags to your blog.

Then put nofollow tags on links which are useless if they get ranked. - Like disclaimer, terms and conditions, contact us and… Links that point to other sites like blogger.com, wordpress.com (these are by default on your blogger template)

You can exchange blog posts or articles with other bloggers by contacting them. Tell them you have a similar blog and mention some benefits so they get interested. You can do link exchange with other blogs, by adding links on your homepage of the blog and in return they add yours on their homepage. [Read more →]

3 Tips for Creating Traffic-Boosting Content

Have something new and different to say

It may seem obvious, but simply spouting off a bunch of statistics or rewording something that has already been said by a hundred others isn’t going to bring any longevity to your website traffic.

Regardless of how much effort you put into getting people to the door, most of them are going to leave unless you quickly present them with a reason to stick around.  Put some time and research into your content and your energy will be rewarded by traffic that not only stops by for a quick glance, but comes back again and again. How I OutRank My Competitors By “Using Their Own Websites”

hushNote: This is a sneaky tactic (and optional) you can use. It will give you an “unfair advantage” but remember that if you do not follow this exact method you still get rankings… It also requires some work but even if you just go through it you are still learning search engine optimization… I hire people to do what I am going to teach you…

These steps will allow you to beat a competitor who is in the number one position in Google for a certain keyword. However you still need to find keywords that do not have too many competitors if you do not have someone to help you doing optimization. [Read more →]

Common Myths about Online Businesses Debunked!

Don’t let the TV commercials fool you – starting a business online is anything but easy! There is more competition on the Internet than there is in the real world, because your competitors can literally be from anywhere on the planet. So what are the most common mistakes and how do you avoid them?

MYTH #1: It doesn’t cost anything to start a business online

While it is true that you can have a website online without spending a dime, when it comes to business you are going to have to come off your wallet here and there. Now I’m not suggesting that you go out and spend thousands of dollars on a high end website, but even the most basic business sites have costs associated with them.
