New Social Media Upstart Seeks Beta Testers
It appears as though someone has finally taken social marketing websites to the next level. Tipzu allows users to create their own Tipzine using Web 2.0 capabilities. What is a Tipzine, you might ask? That is this site’s catch word for a personal social networking page with some serious power.
Tipzu is currently in beta testing, offering users complete HTML functionality (that no other social media site has at the moment) to create a page that takes the best of a Blogspot blog and tosses in the article publishing qualities of HubPages and the networking reach of MySpace.
But that’s not even close to everything you can do here.
Take a look at the features Tipzu is already offering in the Beta test:
- Multiple Article Publishing
Publish as many articles as you like, whenever you like.
- Full HTML Editing – with Revenue
You have total control over the code, including when and where you choose to include advertising such as Google’s AdSense. Oh and here’s the kicker for me – you keep every penny of the revenue generated from the advertising you place on the page!
- Build Multiple Landing Pages
Anyone in online marketing knows the importance of landing pages, and Tipzu allows you to create and customize multiple landing pages.
- Blog Platform
You don’t have to fool with using external links to your blog elsewhere, you have full blogging capabilities including comment control.
- RSS
Syndication, anyone?
- Title Tag Control
Here’s another feature that should appeal to the online marketing gurus in our midst. Can you imagine a social media site where you control the title tag? You’ve found it.
- User Based Communities
You can build an interactive user-based community of friends and fans.
- Newsletter with RSS
Once you have established yourself on the site, you can enable the newsletter capabilities to even further extend your social media reach with Tipzu. What’s more, these newsletters have RSS capabilities.
So let’s recap. Publish SEO Articles, blogs and newsletters with complete HTML control including control over your own advertising? Count me in.
